In January 2022, a 4.4 kW micro CHP system was installed in a 32 unit, two-story multifamily residential building located in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The owner of the building selected the micro CHP system as the best option for reducing his overall energy costs, while providing increased reliability of utility service for the tenants.

Arbor House: Urban Farming Takes Root in the Bronx
Arbor House, a LEED Platinum multifamily building, opened its doors to new residents in February of 2013. A blend of residential and commercial space, the building consists of 123 affordable housing units as well as a 10,000 sf rooftop hydroponic greenhouse. Four marathon ecopower micro-combined heat and power (CHP) plants were installed to produce heat and low-cost electricity onsite from cheap natural gas.

U.S. EPA Presents Prestigious 2011 ENERGY STAR Emerging Technology Award to Marathon Engine Systems
EAST TROY, WI – The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency today awarded Marathon Engine Systems, an engineering and manufacturing company, with the 2011 ENERGY STAR Emerging Technology Award for the ecopower microCHP system. The East Troy, WI, company’s innovative product increases overall energy production efficiency and reduces greenhouse gas emission.

EnCana Honored by Bureau of Land Management for Best Management Practices
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) announced EnCana as a winner of the 2007 Oil, Gas and Geothermal Development Environmental Best Management Practices (BMP) Award for Most Improved Environmental Practices in a Highly Developed Oil & Gas Field. Engineered Concepts equipment was used to achieve this award.

Advanced Dehydrator Design Recovers Gas, Reduces Emissions
Performance testing of an advanced glycol dehydrator design showed that the unit, compared with a conventional de-hydration technology, saved the equivalent of more than 35 million standard cu ft/year of natural gas valued at more than $173,000. It also lowered hazardous air pollutant (HAP)and volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions.
